1. Non-degree programs are terrific options for students with a variety of needs. "Our students are generally looking to change careers, or they're professionals in their field looking for advancement," explained Irina Cline, Director of Community and Continuing Education at Morton College. "We also have students who are stay-at-home parents returning to the work force, or are looking to develop their interests and hobbies. For example, animal lovers may become Veterinary Assistants, or those interested in personal fitness may take Yoga classes." 2. There are many benefits of a non-degree program. "These classes focus on students' specific interests, and allow them to reach a personal goal, whether that is employment, entertainment, or social engagement, in a short amount of time," added Cline. "There are a lot of open positions in industries like Healthcare, Hospitality, and Logistics & Transportation. Non-degree programs are affordable, and we offer in-house payment plans." 3. The variety of program options is extensive.
